I Feel Sad – Changing My Vibrations

Hello Fabulous,

As I sit here and write this blog, I am feeling a little BLAH………Does that ever happen to you? Perhaps a little sad, and for no apparent reason? Yes, it’ s true Life Coaches can get sad and feel out of “The Vortex.” Afterall, we are people too!!! :) I am fully aware I have the choice to change my vibration and mood. Brainstorming now I can: listen to a nice piece of music, go to a run, go to the gym, organize my room, dance in my room, make snow angels…. what else????? I think out of all of that I should listen to music in my room while organizing it. ( Free cluttered energy) being I have a coaching session in less than 2 hours. Then after my session, I can go to the gym to release endorphins which will make me even happier. Ok, now I feel good that I have a plan with my energy. :) Wishing you a beautiful day!!!

I think sometimes we just need to feel sad. I have been an upbeat, living large kind of guy all my life. I recently started to realize that i was often running from any "down" energy or sadness. I had a 6 month stretch of feeling really difficult emotions and facing many issues around death (lost my dog of 12 years, was watching "6 feet under" alot, read "the road", etc). i came out the other side som much more deeply affected by the little things in life, and so much more appreciative of very ordinary things. in essence, life became fuller after being hollowed out by being with my sadness.

i know there is a time and place for everything, and each person has to decide what is best for them. i just think we over-do the whole "positive energy" thing.

I definately agree with you that we need to be sad at times. Sorry to hear about your losses. Big warm hug from Toronto!!! Sometimes it's good to feel the sadness and blahness in order to get your emotions out and released from within instead of carrying them inside.

I feel much better now then on Monday. I needed that time for myself. :) I now understand where it came from, which I knew before as well. lol
