How To Create A Vision Board

By | February 12, 2013

Hey Everyone,

This blog post is for anyone who wants to know how to create a vision board, or perhaps a reminder to those who haven’t created one for awhile. Creating a vision board is a really simple and fun way of mapping out what you would like to create in your life through visualizations. Also living in the world of social media, I’d have to say that Pinterest seems to be the vision board of all social media platforms. You PIN what you like on boards, which is in essence a big VISION BOARD!

What is a vision board?

A vision board is a big canvas/map/board depicting through images the kind of goals and dreams you would like to have in your life. It’s a big collage tailored by YOU of what kind of lifestyle you’d like to have! Now some people could have a vision board of what they’d like in general, having a bit of each area of their lives, while others create vision boards specifically for health goals/relationship goals or anything else they are looking to attract. There is no wrong or right in creating a vision board, so put on some music and have some fun!

How does a vision board work?

A vision board is on the bases of using the law of attraction. The law of attraction states “like attracts like” and that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts, you can bring about positive or negative results in your life. Think of yourself like a magnet attracting to yourself the experiences through your thoughts and feelings. Your thoughts in your mind evoke an emotion which manifests into existence. Everything you are thinking about you are bringing about! I have more blog posts about law of attraction that you can read. :)

Materials Needed:

1. Buy a piece of bristol board.
2. Cut out the best images that make you EXCITED and paste your board. You might to use markers for writing quotes or words.
3. Place somewhere in your room or anywhere else that you will be able to see for a few minutes a day.
4. Let the Universe do the rest. :)

Watch my video above to see my experience with visions boards, how to create them & what has manifested since I created them!
