G’Day From Adelaide

By | February 16, 2010

G’Day Fabulous from Adelaide!!! I’m a little stuffy and my eyes are watering, which has something to to the change in weather from winter to summer, the long flight and just being on the go since I arrived. It’s been almost a week downunder, and today is the first day that I have been finally able to rest. The first two nights I was in Melbourne at my Auntie Tina’s house (She is my mother’s sister who actually came to Oz as a vacation just after we came here to live! We all lived together during my six years living here as a child.). The following day my grandparents, Sister Vicky and I flew an hour away to Adelaide for my cousin Nina’s Big Fat Greek Wedding.

I have so many RELOS (as they say here in OZ for relatives) from my mother’s side of the family. It’s as though my Dad’s side of the family is mostly in Canada and in Greece and my Mother’s side is mostly in Australia and then some in Greece. The wedding was perfect timing! ! I haven’t seen all of my Greek-Australian Family since we left which was 17 years ago!!!!! The wedding couple( Nina & Arthur) had a pre-party on the Saturday before their wedding with 100 people, 2 lambs roasting on the spit, drinks and relatives that kept coming and coming down the driveway and into the backyard. Hugs and kisses and more hugs and kisses. It was SOOO Nice!!!!
We had a beautiful bride yesterday!!! I was so happy to be able to share this special day with them all. We Greek danced, and danced which isn’t so fun in such high heels!!!(But well worth it!!)I took them off at the end of the night and started dancing barefoot which resulted in having BLACK feet!!! It was really nice with black feet and all. It made me happy, yet a little sad that our family is so far apart in Australia, Canada and Greece. I guess we should just enjoy the moment together!!
My Uncle Kon told me that he reads this blog. I was thinking really? Awwwww That’s so nice!! Imagine having an Uncle you haven’t seen in 17 years and he follows your blog??? I was really touched!!! I also reunited with my Auntie Grace-Marie who is also a Life Coach!!! For most coaches when they have 2 or more coaches in a room together talking, it is rather exciting because it makes us feel as though we have the same thought consciousness and that they are your people where you can express your thoughts. Of course this could vary of what kind of coach you are because there are a wide variety of coaches from spiritual to business. Sometimes when I meet people with a different consciousness I can speak, but they might not necessarily understand what I am saying. Sometimes people think dreams, law of attraction, intentions and just this topic is a little hocus pocus!! Imagine starting to talk to someone as in Jerry & Esther Hicks ( Teaching of Abraham) and saying you are source energy, you are a vibrational being in a vibrational world??? He he ….I can’t wait to meet up with her once we go back to Melbourne.
Stay Fabulous!
