Visiting Hampton Court Palace

Entrance of Hampton Court Palace

Before traveling to England I have to be honest that I didn’t really know much about English history. My mother knows about King Henry & all his wives. I had heard of him, but I never read up on the guy. Just from the sound of having 6 wives and chopping their heads off from the start I knew something was a bit off with him. Don’t ya think? I never watched the Tudors which would have been ideal to have watched in advance so that I could put all the story together. Having seen what I did in England intrigued me for sure. There’s an abundance of history in such a small area. You see these places and you forget about facebook, ipods, iphones and just want to open a book. You know like in the days where we read more instead of being consumed online?

What I Loved about Hampton Court Palace was that it was interactive!

* An audio guide
*Tours & Activities
*Business at The Court with King Henry VIII – Meeting The King & his people dressed up taking you back in time!
*You are given a cloak to wear if you want to be apart of the time!
*A beautiful garden!
*Easy learning of all his wives!

This mixture of all these things made learning SO FUN because it’s interactive! 😛

Admission: £14.00 Adults £7.00
You can take the train from Wimbledon or Waterloo!
