Visiting My Cousin in Thessaloniki

Having fun with my cousin in Aristotle Square.

Whenever I am in Greece and I visit Macedonia in the northern region, I always get so excited. My mother’s side of the family is from there, so of course I have lots of cousins and a sense of connection there. Here I am in Thessaloniki, Greece’s second largest city, visiting a cousin in Aristotle Square. He has no idea I am recording the meeting on camera, although he shouldn’t be surprised with me! I got so emotional and started to cry. I always have so much fun with my cousin Lefteris. We laugh so much, you’d think we had a bottle of wine. It’s always like that when I see him. It was a hot day in the mid 30’s C, and instead of sitting at a nice cafĂ© having a frappe, I made him walk around the city. I’m such a nice cousin! More of those videos from our northern region Macedonia,
Greece to come!
