Break-Dancing Around The Arc De Triomphe

By | June 3, 2011

After the rain stopped Josi & I made our way to the end of Champs Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe. We didn’t actually go up, but it still counts seeing it from outside right? lol….. This famous monument is honorary to those who fought and died for France in the French Revolutionary and the Napoleonic Wars. In the centre of the arch is an eternal flame that flickers on the tomb of the Unknown Soldier who was a victim in World War 1. There is also a museum inside. You can climb up to the top or take an elevator. What did we do? We observed the beautiful symbolic monument while watching some Parisian break-dancing to AC/DC’s Thunderstruck!!! 😛
