Life Goals: Buckle Your Ass Down

By | September 21, 2012

Hey Everyone,

This video is about working on your life goals and in order to do that you need to buckle your ass down! I know how it is in the summertime sometimes with goals because we are all out & about. Now it’s September and the summer has passed. It’s time for you to get back to what you want!

No one is going to do the work for you. Even if someone could do the work for you, it wouldn’t feel fulfilling and wouldn’t feel like a dream come true. If you are like the majority of people, you need to work and have a full-time job while you work on your goals. That is how it was with me. I was working full-time at the hotel in Lake Louise, and had to study coaching classes, take the classes, coach clients etc etc. I had to do so many things at once.

A lot of people think you have to wait until you get a lot of money and then you can work on your goals and dreams. Most people have to work full-time and work on their dreams. You have to put the time and effort into this if you really want it. Maybe you can’t put 5 – 10 hours a day. You can start off small! Keep tending to your dreams & keep working on it making progress each day.

There is no moment like the present. Don’t wait for the moment and push it aside saying you will wait until the fall, winter, spring or summer. Just take action. People will say, Oh I have to wait until this happens, I need to wait for that to happen, I need more money etc etc. That is just putting your dreams on hold in a future that does not exist.

For me this fall one big project is to work on my ebook series from my travels last year when I worked 3 weeks a month, and the last week I went on vacation. I am working with a writing coach Angie Droulias to make that happen. I have to buckle my ass down and write. I have to do certain things to make this happen. I can’t be on Facebook and stuck on my phone, although I love Online Social Media. I have to focus on the end result and so do you!

If you wait and hold on to your dream and don’t take any action, you will hold on to this until your grave. You are going to think, I wish I did this! Don’t think about wishing to do things, just do it!

I think it comes down to this one question you should ask yourself each day to help you achieve your goals and it’s this: ” What action steps can I take today to achieve my goals?” NO matter how small they may seem, just trust your intuition and do them. It’s the little things that makes a big difference. I know a man named Nik Hallik who loves to travel the world. He asks himself this question everyday ” When was the last time you did something for the first time?” He truly lives the life of his dreams.
